Hey, I'm Annah!
I've loved textiles for as long as I can remember, studying them at university over ten years ago and eventually falling completely in love with colourwork knitting. With a background in design, I'm drawn to the way colour can transform a piece, and it honestly feels like where I was always meant to land. It all took off by accident when I knitted my first blanket for myself, shared a few photos, and suddenly thousands of people were asking for the pattern.
For a while I kept it going quietly alongside my teaching career, pouring my spare time into patterns and ideas. In 2025 I knew it was time to take the leap, and I've been fully immersed in the craft ever since. Since then, I've written a knitting book and this brand new course which still feels a little surreal to say! I can't wait to knit with you!

In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as charts and close-up shots of my stitches, so you can follow along and practice as we go. You can knit each step as I show it to you, and you can comment and compare with other students under each video or in the group so you can resolve any doubts you have and learn new tricks!
The course is designed to be as practical as possible, even teaching you the basics of colour theory and how to choose your materials. You can review the lessons as many times as you want, where you want, and when you want!
